About this service: I am a speech pathologist, educator and researcher with a particular interest in POTS and invisible chronic illness, and I also have lived experience of POTS. I am not a medical doctor. These sessions are designed to help you understand POTS, make sense of your experiences and the information you have been given, and explore the questions you have about the condition. They provide health education rather than medical diagnosis or treatment and do not replace care from your treating medical professionals.

Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking.

Recording and AI-assisted tools: Sessions may be recorded or transcribed to assist with note-taking and preparation of the written summary you receive after your session. I may use AI-assisted tools, including Heidi, to process this information and help prepare your notes and summary. This allows me to focus on our conversation rather than taking extensive notes during the session. I review AI-assisted content before it is used or shared with you. Any session recording will be deleted within 30 days of your appointment. Your session notes and written summary will be retained as part of your client record. This means if you choose to book another session in the future, we can build on what we have already discussed rather than starting again. By booking this service, you understand and agree that your session may be recorded and/or transcribed and that AI-assisted tools may be used for the purposes described above.

Cancelling and rescheduling: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours notice. With at least 48 hours' notice, you may choose to reschedule your appointment or receive a refund. Refunds will be processed as soon as reasonably practicable and may take several business days to appear in your account after processing. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice are not refundable.

I understand that unexpected circumstances do occur. Please contact me if something outside your control prevents you from attending.
