She offers a service to adults to assist with a range of health and well-being issues which may include adjustment, life transitions, bereavement, unemployment, and, work-related problems. Alexis is a qualified Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist Young people and Adults Alexis has specialist knowledge in psychological approaches to assess and treat young people who may need help with: Transition from Secondary to Tertiary Studies Dealing with relationship breakups Depression School refusal Focus and motivation Anger management Understanding sexuality and sexual identity Gender Identity Alcohol and Drug issues Anxiety Recovering from trauma – sexual assault, family violence Children Alexis works with children: toddlers, and primary school age, who present with difficulties in learning, communication, emotional regulation, or social relations.
