Ms Louisa Ardenne

Psychologist

Louisa understands that life can be messy, and that reaching out for support is rarely easy - especially if you’ve tried before and felt like just another name on a file. She knows how overwhelming it can be when anxiety keeps you awake at night, when relationships feel too hard, or when family life brings more stress than comfort. She understands the weight of trauma, the disorientation of feeling “not yourself,” and the pain of carrying wounds, old or new - from childhood, relationships, or life’s challenges. With over a decade of experience, Louisa brings more than just qualifications to her work. Trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Schema Therapy, she tailors therapy to you - your story, your strengths, and the life you want to create. Louisa has experience supporting people through some of life’s toughest moments — including domestic and family violence, healing after sexual assault or childhood abuse, facing eating disorders, addiction, and living with the invisible scars of PTSD. She also works with clients navigating neurodiversity, grief, and the everyday stress of simply being human. In addition, Louisa has worked extensively in men’s mental health across forensic and military settings and understands the unique barriers men face in accessing support. Above all, Louisa believes therapy should offer more than insight. It should leave you with tools, hope, and the confidence to take meaningful steps toward lasting change and the life you want.
