About Linda:
Hi, my name is Linda, and I am committed to helping individuals to reach their full potential and maximise their quality of life. I am an Occupational Therapist with a special interest in paediatrics, particularly those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
I have experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families in accessing health, social and education supports. Early intervention is a passion, and I have paediatric experience working within a therapy team of allied health professionals in both group and individual settings. I describe myself as an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about providing safe nurturing environments for children with a disability to engage and flourish in all settings.
Over the past 10+ years, I have worked in the paediatric disability sector, providing assessment and services, interacting with the NDIS. Recently, I have focused on supporting young people with ASD assessments and Functional Capacity Assessments.
My approach is holistic and collaborative, with a strong belief in a TAC (“team around the child”) approach whilst working, with clients to set and achieve their therapy goals including involving key people for support. I feel privileged to help individuals make their own choices and advocate for what matters to them.
