Em has been working in a busy sports physiotherapy practice for the last 10 years and worked as one of the club physio's for Eastern Suburbs Rugby Union. Em has a keen interest in Women's Health, specifically working with women through pregnancy and into the post partum period. Having had 3 girls herself she understands the significant transformation that becoming a mum can bring and the challenges that it can present. Em has completed extra study in Western Acupuncture / Dry Needling and Active Release Techniques (ART) both which form an integral part of her Active RX Physiotherapy sessions.

Nick & Emma Batger are a husband and wife physio team working at ACTIVE RX Physio, a hands-on musculoskeletal and sports focused physiotherapy practice. The Active RX Philosophy is based around manual techniques to identify weakness, inefficiency and potential sources of pain in the body. Their sessions are about helping you to learn and strengthen efficient motor patterns so that you can stay active. They have both competed an an elite level so they understand not only the physical demands that training and competing can have on the body but also how important strength & mobility work can be when it comes to staying injury free
