Ashlee Wells

Psychologist

Ashlee is a General Psychologist with experience providing mental health services to children (3+yrs), adolescents and adults. She is a client-centered and evidence-based clinician skilled in providing a range of therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Therapy including Exposure Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Ashlee is also practiced in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Play Therapy and Brief Intervention. Ashlee works with a variety of clients, including those referred through Medicare, WorkCover and NDIS. Ashlee completed a Diploma of Counselling in 2013 and later obtained the Bachelor of Psychology from James Cook University in 2014. She has since developed her therapeutic and diagnostic skills in a range of sectors including drug and alcohol, youth mental health recovery and private practice. Ashlee has been working as a Psychologist in a private practice setting since 2017, which has afforded her the opportunity to treat a wide range of clients and presenting issues. Ashlee’s areas of interest include treating clients experiencing anxiety and depression, trauma, grief and loss, stress reduction, conflict management, emotional regulation, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Having completed training in Perinatal Non-Directive Counselling and recently becoming a mother herself, she also has a strong interest in supporting individuals who have concerns about a current or recent pregnancy. Ashlee provides her clients with dignity, respect and compassion. On her weekends she enjoys being a mum and spending time with her family, being active and exploring the outdoors.

Jane is a Psychologist with over 25 years’ experience. Jane has a broad range of experience encompassing community mental health, private practice, employee assistance programs and organisational psychology. Jane has a PhD in Clinical Psychology from The University of Queensland and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society. Jane’s style is authentic, warm and direct, allowing her to initiate and grow one-on-one relationships, navigate tough conversations and quickly grasp client needs. She skilfully translates complex psychological theory into practical, meaningful solutions that have a transformational effect for individuals. Dr Tamara Street

Psychologist

General Psychologist Tamara has over 18 years of experience as a Psychologist working in private practice, hospital and educational settings. She provides mental health services to children (3+yrs), adolescents and adults. Her primary therapeutic modalities are · Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, · Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, · Motivational Interviewing, · Solution-Focused Therapy, and · Mindfulness-based interventions. Tamara draws upon Creative Child Therapy to achieve meaningful and engaging psychological therapy for children. She provides therapy for anxiety, depression and other mental health concerns as a Medicare provider, and also provides treatment for NDIS participants with Autism who are verbal (level 1 and 2) and with intellectual disability. Tamara also supports adolescents and adults with behaviour change in areas such as health, addiction, career, relationship, or lifestyle. Kelley Knox

Counsellor

Kelley is a Counsellor and Play Therapist for children (3+yrs) and adolescents. She has a background in primary school teaching, special education and school guidance counselling where she has gained a broad range of experience supporting children with diverse and complex emotional, social, behavioural, and mental health needs. When working with children Kelley provides a range of play-based therapeutic interventions that cultivate children’s inherent ability to grow and develop through their natural language of play. Kevin Sickelmore

Kevin has a Bachelor of Psychological Science (hons) and Master of Mental Health (Psychotherapy) Kevin is a General Psychologist who practices from a person-centred, strengths-based position. He has worked with clients across the lifespan and with a variety of different presentations. Kevin has worked within school, workplace and correctional settings running both group and individual based intervention and facilitated discussions. Kevin draws from several evidence-based models of treatment to help clients address their presenting problems. Jasmine Koretz has completed eight years of University training and holds a Bachelor Degree, Honours, Masters and Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology. She has worked in NZ and Australia providing mental health services to adults and children and assessment and diagnostic services to infants and children in the disability sector. She has worked as a Clinical Psychologist at Waikato Hospital NZ and Sydney Children's Hospital. Jasmine has also worked as a support worker, behaviour specialist, and ABA therapist. She has worked as case manager with at risk youth in partnership with the NZ Police and a program coordinator for a young women's leadership program. She is a compassionate, client-centred and evidence-based clinician skilled in providing a range of therapeutic interventions including Emotion-focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Play (including AutPlay) and Creative Therapies. Yasmeen works and connects with a variety of clients, including those referred through NDIS. Yasmeen has a Masters of Counselling and is a member of PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia). Having worked as a Counsellor in both private practice and education settings (including early intervention for ASD), Yasmeen has valuable experience working with clients with a wide range of presenting issues. She also continues to develop and share her skills by teaching students in Masters and Bachelor programs of Counselling and Community Services. Though she has a broad range of experience and is a skilled therapist, Yasmeen also has particular interest and experience when working with clients experiencing grief and loss (including complex grief), emotion regulation, anxiety and depression, trauma, and child-centred family separation and divorce counselling. Yasmeen’s genuine warmth and sense of humour help her to connect quickly and easily with her clients.
