Dr Alea Losch

Psychologist

I am Dr Alea Lösch, a Clinical Psychologist with experience in evidence-based and clinically proven therapies for a range of mental health issues for people of all ages. I completed my studies and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Western Australia. I have an Honours Degree in Psychology, a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology. I have also completed several units of a Graduate Diploma of Divinity. I ongoingly have a passion for advancing my knowledge and clinical skills. I maintain a wide range of professional and personal development. I am a member of the Australian Psychological Society College of Clinical Psychologists (MAPS), as well as being a member of the Australian Psychological Society. I am very passionate about working with people. I have always sought out work experiences that have challenged my growth as a clinician. I have had experience working in areas such as the Department for Child Protective Services and Family Support, the Trauma Unit at Royal Perth Hospital, the Counselling Service at the University of Western Australia, and in the past few years I have been working in private practice. I have worked with individual clients, couples and have run a range of therapy groups. I have extensive experience in assessment, as well as interventions. My work experience has allowed me to interact with people from all walks of life – people of all ages, diverse cultural backgrounds and with a range of presenting issues. I utilise a variety of evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Mindfulness Therapy, Schema Therapy and more. I also recently completed my EMDR (Eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing) training for adults and children.

Mr Harrish Nair

Harrish is an experienced counsellor who is passionate about helping his clients live their best life. He has a gentle and calming presence and creates a safe space for people to explore their lives and express themselves. He has successfully used evidenced based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Compassion Focussed Therapy to help clients overcome issues such as anxiety, low self-worth, depression, and relationship difficulties. He has a special interest in helping people understand how their childhood experiences impact their current beliefs about themselves and their relationships. He uses strategies from Schema Therapy to help clients break old habitual patterns and beliefs. He is also experienced in using EMDR to help clients with PTSD symptoms. Harrish has worked in community counselling program for people experiencing suicidal thoughts and self-harming behaviours. Through this experience he has observed how trauma, negative beliefs, unexpressed and unresolved painful feelings lead to mental distress. He is also experienced in working with teenagers and young adults. Harrish approaches therapy with sincerity, and values people’s unique strengths and limitations. He recognises the importance of meeting people wherever they are at and approaches clients with respect, compassion, and complete acceptance.

With over 9 years of experience in the disability sector, Kate prioritizes inclusivity, advocacy, and access. Kate's occupation-based methodology focuses on eliminating barriers to participation in valued activities, enhancing enjoyment of life, and fostering improved mood. Holding registrations with Medicare and AHPRA, she upholds the highest standards of practice and actively engages in delivering Chronic Disease Management Plans (CDMPs).

Kylie is a certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with 20+ years’ experience. She loves to work with any age range and diverse diagnosis, with a passion to work with kids. She has worked primarily in acute hospital settings with experience in Neurosciences, Neurosurgery, Burns, Trauma, Lymphoedema, Heart and Lung Transplant, Geriatrics and Hand Therapy. Kylie boasts a rich background in inpatient mental health services. She also has a strong passion for group work ranging from creative expression through art, to discussion groups incorporating DBT, CBT and life skills.
