As a dedicated Paediatrician with over 14 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working across regional and tertiary centres in Australia, the UK, and India. My medical journey has been driven by a commitment to improving the health and well-being of children, from newborns to adolescents, through compassionate and evidence-based care. My expertise spans General Paediatrics, Neonatology, and Developmental Paediatrics, with a particular focus on managing complex medical conditions and supporting children with developmental challenges such as ASD and ADHD. I am passionate about interdisciplinary collaboration and have successfully led multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive and holistic care. In addition to my clinical work, I am actively involved in medical education and mentorship, aiming to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals. My qualifications include an FRACP in General Paediatrics, MRCPCH from the UK, and a Neonatology Fellowship, underscoring my commitment to continuous learning and excellence in paediatric care. He earned his medical degree from the University of Newcastle before undergoing comprehensive psychiatry training across Sydney’s leading institutions, including Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Concord Centre for Mental Health, The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network, and the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network. He also pursued advanced training at the California Department of State Hospitals. With diverse experience across metropolitan, regional, and remote settings in NSW and the Northern Territory, Brendan is also highly skilled in telehealth delivery. In addition to clinical practice, he regularly conducts medicolegal assessments. General Paediatrician MBBChBAO, DCH, AMC, FRACP Dr. Chatwell Habana is a highly qualified and experienced paediatrician dedicated to providing comprehensive medical care for children from birth to 18 years. He holds an MBBChBAO from University College Dublin, Ireland, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Paediatrics & Child Health). Chatwell began his paediatric training in Dublin at Temple Street Children’s Hospital and Crumlin Children’s Hospital. He then continued his training in Australia, where he gained extensive experience at Westmead Children’s Hospital, Sydney Children’s Hospital, and the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH). Additionally, he has worked in a number of regional and rural paediatric settings across Australia. Chatwell spent two years with the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service (VPRS), honing his skills in paediatric physical rehabilitation and developmental disabilities. Chatwell’s special interests include neurodevelopmental disorders, developmental disabilities, and paediatric physical rehabilitation. Chatwell is passionate about health advocacy and enjoys interacting with families to ensure the best outcomes for his patients. Dr Cuauhtemoc Sandoval de Alba

Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist MBBS, Specialist in Psychiatry, FRANZCP, Grad Cert TFP Sandoval is a Latin-American psychiatrist with 14 years of clinical experience as a consultant. In 2008 he completed his medical degree and specialist psychiatry training in two major university hospitals in Mexico which were recognised by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP). Sandoval also undertook additional training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and completed a long personal analysis with an International Psychoanalytical Association training analyst. After three years of working in the private sector in Guadalajara city, Mexico, he moved to Auckland, New Zealand in 2011, where he completed 6.5 years consulting in an adult community team. In 2018 he moved to Melbourne, Australia, consulting for 2.5 years in an acute inpatient unit. More recently, he has consulted across a variety of inpatient and community public mental health services in Tasmania, Queensland, and Western Australia. Sandoval promotes a friendly, safe and supportive therapeutic environment aiming to deliver sustainable and tailored treatment plans that match the person’s needs and preferences. Dr Ilse Eiselen

She is originally from South Africa where she obtained her medical degree and specialised in psychiatry. Dr Ilse and her family moved to Australia in 2020 and settled in Queensland. Dr Ilse gained international experience in Psychiatry while working in England and Jersey Channel Island. She has also gained extensive experience throughout her career working in rural and remote settings in Australia and South Africa. She is currently a consultant psychiatrist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and treats both in-patients and community patients. Dr. Ilse Eiselen is a compassionate and experienced psychiatrist with over 14 years of practice as a psychiatrist and specialises in ADHD assessments and treatment for both children and adults. With a deep understanding of the complexities of ADHD, Dr. Ilse provides thorough, individualized evaluations and effective treatment plans to help clients navigate the challenges of ADHD in everyday life. Whether addressing academic struggles, workplace difficulties, or emotional challenges, Dr. Ilse is committed to offering compassionate evidenced based care in a holistic fashion and empowering individuals to reach their full potential. Outside of work she loves the outdoors and has a special interest in long distance sea swimming. Before moving to the beautiful far North Queensland, she was however not fully aware of the saltwater crocodiles and stinger issues, but has now adapted wearing the ‘highly fashionable stinger suit’. She has no solution for the crocodiles yet. Dr Ilse also has a passion for animals and training dogs, which she uses in therapy. Her best pass time is time spent with her family and friends.

Dr Parisa Loxham

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Dr Loxham is a Consultant Psychiatrist and a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP.) She obtained her medical degree and embarked on her junior doctor years in the United Kingdom, before completing her fellowship in Brisbane, Australia. Parisa completed her basic psychiatry training at Princess Alexandra Hospital and her advanced training at Queensland Children’s Hospital. She is currently undertaking her fellowship with the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine also. Dr Loxham recognises the importance of providing a holistic, recovery focused and evidence-based approach to care. Her expertise includes treatment of depression, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders in adults, children and adolescents. Dr Loxham works collaboratively with patients and their families to provide the best possible care in all modalities. This includes psychological therapies, pharmacological management, and particularly lifestyle interventions. She understands the relationship between the physical and mental well-being, and so advocates for improving patients’ physical health where possible. She believes that kindness, and a shared understanding of a patient’s experiences, is the basis for meaningful therapeutic work.
