Narissa is a Provisional Psychologist who commenced working at The READ Clinic in 2020.
Narissa is in her final year of being a provisional psychologist having completed her Master of Professional Psychology at the University of Newcastle.
Narissa has training experience and a background in emotional and behavioural regulation, toileting issues, and social skills and play development in children with anxiety, ADHD, intellectual disability and ASD. She also has training and experience in mindfulness-based stress reduction and cognitive behavioural therapy for adults and with the group based cool kids program for children with anxiety.
She provides therapy for both children and adults, taking special interest in behavioural issues in children. She also provides IQ assessments where there are concerns about learning style or disability or suspected ADHD.
