Overview

Tenille is a highly skilled and experienced therapist delivering evidence based counselling services to both adults and adolescents. She has an unwavering passion for helping individuals navigate life's challenges, and guiding clients towards achieving their optimal mental and emotional well-being. Certified by the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) Tenille’s approach is integrative, drawing from multiple evidence based frameworks, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), trauma-informed therapy and mindfulness-based practices. Over the years Tenille has worked in a variety of counselling settings where she has gained valuable experience working with a wide range of psychological concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, self-esteem, and personal growth. Tenille’s utmost priority is to provide compassionate and professional care to every client she works with. Striving to foster a strong therapeutic alliance built on trust, empathy, and confidentiality. She aims to collaboratively uncover her clients underlying issues, develop coping strategies, and facilitate personal growth, empowering her clients to achieve lasting positive change. Tenille believes that through self-reflection, introspection, and a willingness to step outside of one’s comfort zone, clients can learn skills and strategies that will allow them to reframe life’s challenges and setbacks as opportunities for growth, and begin to view these as valuable lessons rather than insurmountable obstacles. She believes that when clients are provided with the space and opportunity to embrace themselves with compassion and resilience and to discover new aspects of their identity, they will unlock their full potential for living a purposeful and deeply fulfilling life.
