Mr Tim Matheson Speech Pathologist

Overview

Tim has completed a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Linguistics) at University of Melbourne (2012), and a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) at ACU (2017). He is a fully certified practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia. Tim has worked in a range of settings including private practice, early learning facilities and schools as a speech pathologist. His areas of interest include language, literacy, speech, stuttering and self-advocacy. Tim has worked with education staff in early learning centres, primary and secondary schools and conducted professional learning seminars and workshops. Tim is a published author in the International Journal of Speech Language Pathology: Australian pre-service primary teachers' knowledge, attitudes, and skills regarding stuttering. 10.1080/17549507.2022.2125073 Tim has been employed as a university tutor, as well as the Lecturer in Charge of the Fluency/Stuttering unit at Australian Catholic University’s Melbourne campus.
