Mr Reuben Friedlander Myotherapist

Reuben is an experienced Myotherapist and Remedial Massage Therapist, who studied and practised in New Zealand and now in Melbourne. Reuben's love of sport and movement lead him to study the human body and its biomechanics and how to effectively treat pain and injury. Working as a Personal Trainer and Small Group Training Instructor he quickly realised that recovery was such a crucial part of performance and proper movement. Reuben has studied Myotherapy, Therapeutic Massage Diploma, Massage Diploma in Sports Massage and a Bachelor of Health Studies (Neuromuscular Therapy) leading to his current role of Remedial Massage Therapy. During his studies he had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients with a challenging array of medical problems as well as some professional sports teams. With his knowledge of anatomy and movement he now places importance on functional and efficient movement and active recovery. Which has lead to an interest in movement efficiency, stretching and mobility training. Reuben aims to not just provide symptom relief, but help to address underlying causes with movement and orthopedic testing to help with postural and movement imbalances.
