Henrique is a registered psychologist who is passionate about helping people experiencing emotional, social, or learning difficulties. Henrique provides a welcoming space for clients to discuss what is happening in their lives, and enjoys working with clients as a team to help them better understand themselves, learn new skills, build confidence, and live meaningful lives.
Henrique has worked with clients from childhood to adulthood with a range of presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, addiction, self-esteem, and learning difficulties. Prior to becoming a psychologist, Henrique volunteered for several years with Headspace, attending schools and community events to promote the importance of mental health and self-care.
Henrique completed a Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental) at Monash University. In his research, Henrique explored how experiences in nature can support psychological wellbeing — an association of particular interest and passion for him. Henrique is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society.
