Carmel is a registered psychologist with the Australian Psychology Board of Australia. Carmel has worked across various educational settings including pre-schools, primary schools, and high schools in the Macleay Valley. Carmel values relationships and believes in empowering people to achieve their goals. She provides strategies to families to support young people with additional needs or those struggling with anxiety, school refusal, low mood, and social interactions. The goal of these interventions is to build resilience and reinforce strengths. In addition to her work in schools, she has also worked in private practice in Queensland and prior to her career as a psychologist, Carmel was a high school teacher. Carmel utilises a range of therapeutic approaches such as ACT – Acceptance Commitment Therapy, CBT – Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Art therapy.

Kelly is a registered psychologist with a special interest in depression and anxiety, including OCD. A clients family history is explored which is helpful in identifying limited beliefs. Kelly utilises strategies from a number of modalities including CBT, ACT, mindfulness, solution based therapy. Additionally Kelly is trained in EMDR, hypnotherapy and couples counselling. Kelly is available for individuals and couples over 18 years of age.

Olivia Jeffery is a registered Occupational Therapist who enjoys supporting children and families to build confidence, independence, and participation in everyday life. Olivia has experience working across government community health and private practice, supporting individuals across the lifespan. She has worked in both paediatric and palliative care settings, developing a strong appreciation for helping people participate in meaningful activities and daily routines that matter to them. Olivia has a particular passion for working with children and creating fun, engaging sessions that help them develop important life skills. She takes a play-based and child-centred approach, working closely with parents, carers and educators to support each child’s development in a practical and supportive way. Olivia focuses on helping children build skills that support success at home, preschool, and school, while also supporting families with strategies that can be used in everyday routines.
