Kelly Heideman is a registered psychologist with experience across community health, education, organisational, and corporate settings. She works with adolescents aged 16 years and over, as well as adults across all life stages.
Kelly takes a humanistic, holistic, and strengths-based approach to therapy. She has a particular interest in supporting young adults navigating life transitions and adjustment challenges, as well as individuals experiencing workplace-related issues, drawing on extensive experience working with stress, trauma, bullying, and harassment.
Kelly’s work is grounded in the development of a strong therapeutic relationship. She prioritises creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where clients feel heard and understood. Kelly tailors therapy to each client’s individual’s needs, drawing on a range of evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based interventions. Kelly is known for her warm and empathic style and works collaboratively with clients to foster self-awareness, growth, resilience, and meaningful change.
Kelly is able to provide WorkCover and TAC services and is also an Accredited Mediator.
