Jane works with adolescents, adults and older adults. Jane is a registered provisional psychologist until she obtains full AHPRA registration. She is a very experienced mental health professional. Jane is completing her psychology internship under the supervision of an experienced clinician. Jane completed a dual degree of Psychological Science and Criminology and criminal Justice at Griffith University, graduating in 2016. Returning to Griffith in 2018, to complete her Psychology Honours. During her studies Jane worked in Youth Justice as a Restorative Justice Convenor, helping young people move out of offending and helping victims of crime find closure. Jane’s therapeutic approach is strengths-based and trauma-informed. Her therapy style ensures that her clients always feel they are in a safe space. She is empathic and caring making her clients feel understood and supported. Jane sees people for depression and low mood, anxiety and panic, OCD, trauma and PTSD, disordered eating, behavioural issues, ADHD, workplace conflict, occupational rehabilitation, and victims of crime. Jane utilises several evidence-based Therapies including, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-focused CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), In Vivo Exposure Therapy, Imaginal exposure therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mediation and Neurofeedback. Jane also administers a range of assessments.
