Kylie is a Registered Psychologist who first started working at the READ Clinic in 2013.
Kylie has an array of experience working with adolescents and adults and works within a range of therapeutic approaches including CBT, DBT and ACT to achieve the best outcomes for her clients. She has a background in education, working in schools supporting the needs of young people both academically and with mental health concerns for many years. She completed her PhD in Psychology in 2010 at the University of Newcastle, which focused on meta-cognition. Since 2008, she has lectured psychology at the University of Newcastle’s Ourimbah and Callaghan campuses.
Kylie has a strong belief in the combined role of the family and young person in providing optimised outcomes for psychological concerns.
