Dominika Hubiak is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and holds a Masters in Clinical Psychology. Dominika has experience working in the forensic mental health space, supporting clients with a diverse range of presentations. Dominika is registered with Medicare to provide services under Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative.
Dominika has a special interest in supporting adolescents and young adults with anxiety, depression, behavioural/social difficulties, self-harm/risk, low self-esteem, body image, interpersonal difficulties, difficulties managing emotion, adjustment difficulties, stress and trauma. Dominika’s therapeutic approaches draw from evidence-based practice including: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (TF-CBT) and mindfulness-based interventions.
Dominika is warm, engaging and encouraging in her relationship with clients where she seeks to improve mental wellbeing and active positive change.
