All our medical practitioners are required to follow prescriber guidelines regarding monthly limits of THC as per NIIM HREC / TGA / AHPRA. We would like to remind you of the following guidelines and procedures for your medicinal cannabis prescription: THC Limits: Inhaled THC: Up to 500mg per day. Ingested THC: Up to 40mg per day. Prescriptions: The number of prescriptions and repeats is at the discretion of your doctor. Not all medications discussed will be prescribed. Your doctor will decide the best treatment plan for you. Changing prescriptions may incur an administration fee and will be reviewed during the doctor's next shift. Shared Care Letters: May be required if you have certain medical conditions or are on other medications. These letters provide additional medical information from your regular doctor or specialist. If you are enrolled in a Drug/Alcohol/Opioid Replacement Program, you need permission from that doctor to be prescribed Medicinal Cannabis. Let Us know if we can assist in obtaining these letters. Prescription Process: Prescriptions are sent to the pharmacy via email within two business days of your appointment. Prescriptions are not sent directly to patients. Patient Responsibilities: Follow your doctor's dosage and monthly limits. Patients who do not adhere to these limits will be moved to a monthly monitoring system with their doctor. Appointments: Missed appointments will not be refunded. Cancellations are subject to our policy terms and conditions. Returning Patients: If you haven't had a consultation with us for more than 9 months, please book an initial consultation and complete updated consent and intake forms. Thank you for understanding!
