Dr Tuke Flanders is a Psychologist and Educator with two decades worth of experience in the private and public sector. Christina obtained her doctorate in Psychology from the NHS Tavistock & Portman Clinic, London. As a Fellow of the APS College of Educational and Developmental Psychology, Dr Tuke Flanders brings her knowledge of over two decades as a teacher and psychologist to identifying underlying issues, and aiding diagnosis and treatment. Conditions like ADHD and Specific Learning Disorders (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia), can be better understood and addressed through this invaluable process. She liaises with consulting Paediatricians and Psychiatrists to provide a wrap-around service. As a seasoned psychologist, she uses innovative techniques based upon psychodynamic approaches (including art therapy, projective techniques, small figures therapy) and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR). She creates personalised interventions, that will guide you to embrace your inner strengths and overcome challenges with renewed confidence. Dr Christina only accepts teenagers for therapy who are 14+ years old. As well as running her private practice Christina is approved by the Psychology Board of Australia to provide supervision to psychologists and provisional psychologists. Christina’s approach is friendly, highly flexible, adaptive and collaborative. Christina is a member of the Australian Health Professionals Association and the Australian Psychological Society.
