Amy MacGregor

Psychologist

Amy is a clinical psychologist who provides assessment and treatment of a variety of clinical and non-clinical presentations in children, adolescents, and young adults. She has an interest in treatment of the following: Anxiety; Depression, mood difficulties, low self-esteem; Trauma; and Relationship difficulties, such as sibling conflict, friendship problems, and bullying. With a warm, caring, and evidence-based approach, Amy explores how her clients have come to think, feel, and behave in the way they do, and uses this information to ensure that the treatment that she provides is tailored to their individual needs and concerns. She aims to create a safe and encouraging environment for young people and their parents to explore their emotions, express themselves, build resilience, and improve their skills for coping with all that life throws their way. With her clients, Amy uses the following therapies: Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Circle of Security and attachment-based interventions, Triple P, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness. Amy enjoys diagnostic work to find the best outcomes and level of support for her clients. She provides formal assessments of Autism, ADHD, Specific Learning Disability, and Intellectual Disability. Lien Ngo

Speech Pathologist

Lien is a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with nearly a decade of experience supporting children with communication challenges in both educational and healthcare settings. She has spent the past nine years working with Education Queensland, providing specialised speech and language support across primary, secondary, special schools, and early childhood programs. Additionally, she gained valuable international experience working in London, further expanding her expertise in diverse and multicultural environments. Lien specialises in patient assessments, individualized treatment planning, and capacity-building within schools. She collaborates closely with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to ensure holistic and effective communication support for children with complex needs. Her approach integrates evidence-based interventions with a strong focus on inclusion and accessibility. A graduate of The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours), Lien holds multiple professional accreditations, including HCPC registration and memberships with the Royal College of Speech-Language Therapists (RCSLT) and Speech Pathology Australia (SPA). She is trained in a range of specialized programs, including Pragmatic Organisation Dynamic Display (PODD), DIRFloor Time, and Sounds-Write, demonstrating her commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Fluent in both English and Vietnamese, Lien combines strong interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and cultural awareness to provide high-quality, client-centred care. She is passionate about empowering individuals to reach their full communication potential while advocating for inclusive and accessible therapy services. Mr Cameron O'Reilly

Occupational Therapist

Cameron is a driven and passionate Occupational Therapist who strives to provide meaningful and enjoyable intervention to provide children with the best possible opportunity for growth. Cameron’s passions originate from experiencing the world of professional medicine/allied health from a young age in his own family background and seeing first hand the importance of a client and family centred approach to therapy. Having graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Cameron spent the first 2 years working within a private paediatric clinic in the north shore of Sydney. Cameron has various experiences in the disability and play therapy sectors, school-based and both public/private paediatric therapy fields.

Pratiksha Gopal

Social Worker

Pratiksha is a qualified Social Worker with a background in Psychological Science. With over 6 years experience, she has a commitment to supporting and advocating for the positive wellbeing of children and families. Her passion is promoting early mental health and engaging individualised support for children. She has a strong commitment to informing her work through evidence-based practices and a commitment to lifelong learning. She informs her practice methods through Expressive Therapies, Creative Arts and Play based interventions. Pratiksha is also able to provide parental support informed through training in Triple P Parenting and 123 Magic Parenting Programs.

Sam Rittson

Psychologist

Sam is a registered psychologist with a Masters in Educational and Developmental Psychology and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society. With extensive experience in community, clinical, and school settings Sam has worked with children of all ages including, preschoolers, primary age and adolescents. Sam is passionate about working with children and their families in supporting difficulties such as anxiety, trauma, learning difficulties, social skills, and behavioral challenges. Sam also works within the Circle of Security framework to support parents to strengthen the attachment bond within families and to support Perinatal mental health. Recently, Sam served as a school psychologist in a primary setting, supporting children with ADHD, ASD, Specific Learning Difficulties, complex behaviour challenges, school refusal and school anxiety. Sam is also skilled in psychometric assessments including cognitive, learning and behaviour assessments to support the diagnostic process and intervention planning. Sam uses a compassionate strengths-based approach to create a safe, supportive environment to help children and their families live meaningful lives. In working with children, Sam takes a holistic approach to include parents, schools and other professionals to understand the developmental needs of the child in creating positive change.

Saskia Wright(She/her)

Occupational Therapist

Saskia is a qualified Occupational Therapist who graduated from Griffith University. Saskia is passionate about working with children and their families to support her clients through a strengths-based and family-centred approach. Saskia enjoys engaging children in activities and occupations that are meaningful and purposeful to them and their families. She values building strong relationships with her clients and their families to empower and support them to achieve their goals. Saskia moved to Australia in 2020 from South Africa to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy and to make a difference in young people’s lives. Saskia has previous experience teaching dancing classes that have provided her with the necessary skills to effectively work with children and adapt and break down complex routines. She is looking forward to working with neurodiverse children through play-based interventions that assist with developing necessary skills that enhance their abilities.

Simona Tanasie

Psychologist

Simona is a Psychologist registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) and also  a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS). She has full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Simona obtained her undergraduate psychology degree overseas, and then completed a Masters Degree at the University of South Australia. Throughout her studies, Simona has volunteered and worked in a range of settings including schools, hospitals and community services. She worked at a special needs school which involved supporting children who had been diagnosed with learning difficulties, intellectual disabilities or other mental health disorders. She also worked with adults experiencing adjustment difficulties following illness. Simona enjoys working with individuals of all ages. She adopts a warm, collaborative and non-judgemental approach to help her clients achieve goals and build resilience, in order to create lasting change and improve their quality of life. Simona is passionate about building relationships and working with people from diverse backgrounds and populations. Her main goal is to build rapport and help people feel comfortable, safe and supported in session. She values feedback and questions, and strives to meet each client’s needs with empathy, genuineness and unconditional positive regard. Simona has been trained in using a variety of evidence-based therapies to provide an individualised,  person-centred approach. Her clinical experience and training primarily include techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy but also draws from other approaches, such as Motivational Interviewing and Interpersonal Therapy. Simona has worked with clients experiencing a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, emotion regulation difficulties, interpersonal difficulties and more; however, she has a particular interest in the management of risk associated with self-harm and suicide.

Tsun Fai (Kelvin) Ip

Psychologist

Tsun Fai Ip (Kelvin) is a general psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). He has extensive experience in childhood and adolescent mental health, such as emotional regulation, anxiety and anger management. Particularly, he is passionate about working with young individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), providing 1-on-1 psychological therapy. He is skilled in conducting diagnostic assessment for ASD (e.g., ADOS-2 and CARS-2), as well as cognitive and achievement assessment for developmental/learning-related difficulties (e.g., WISC-V and WIAT-III). Kelvin is an advocate of play-based therapy, an approach that has shown positive outcomes with regards to social communication development. In sessions, he often uses LEGO (a commonly adored tool) to create learning opportunities for his clients. Through joint activities and structured play, young individuals will be able to develop their social skills (e.g., turn-taking, sharing, and collaborative problem-solving). This also supports their self-esteem and help them feel calm and relaxed in the clinician’s room, as they are doing something that they are good at or enjoy. Impressively, Kelvin is a trilingual speaker, who is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. Kelvin offers in-clinic, telehealth and online video consultations.

Vy Chuang(She/her)

Speech Pathologist

Vy graduated with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a second degree in Speech Language Pathology. She has experience working in a number of child focused centres with children who have developmental delay and disability. She has recently moved to our Telehealth team but has worked at our Springwood for some time and is keen to offer evidence based online services. Therapy needs which work well online include any speech difficulty, language and grammar, literacy development. If you are keen to understand and support your child's development and progress, Telehealth online therapy is fantastic as you work alongside your therapist very closely and learn how to incorporate therapy into your day to day routines and activities. Vy offers online video consultations.
